Customized Laser Systems from SOLAR LS

For more than 30 years SOLAR LS has been developing and producing unique individual laser solutions meeting specific requirements of our customers.

Being an expert in the field of solid-state lasers, our company also takes part in research projects for science, medicine and industry.

SOLAR LS specialists have rich experience of work in scientific and research centres. That is why we fully understand the difficulties encountered by scientific workers while choosing the equipment for implementing their projects.

Limited budget, need for laser radiation sources with different wavelengths, specific requirements to these sources and registration systems, project implementation schedules and mere lack of space in the laboratory – all these distract from realization of ambitious scientific ideas and projects.

To help our Customers facing such difficulties SOLAR LS for many years has been implementing a special Custom Laser Solutions Program. Within the frame of the program we offer our Customers to supply laser systems which meet their individual requirements and ideally address their tasks.

When designing custom systems we apply all the accumulated experience of our engineers and scientists. For such systems we use both separate units and modules of our standard products and also redesigned serial lasers. Thanks to this we not only reduce the implementation term for such projects, but also ensure for the unique one-of-the-kind systems the operational reliability of time-proven serial products.

The custom laser systems by SOLAR LS get the same warranty and reliable service just as the standard products.

ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Combining various laser and nonlinear converters using the most advanced active media and nonlinear crystals allows us to provide laser output both with any set of fixed wavelengths and with a possibility of continuous wavelength tuning within the range from 0.2 μm to 20 μm.

When designing a laser system under your requirements we, as a rule, create it on the basis of the following main modules:

  • Nd:YAG lasers with harmonic generators;
  • Ti:Sapphire lasers with harmonic generators;
  • OPO with harmonic generators based on ВВО, КТР, КТА, AgGaSe2, ZGP crystals;
  • Sum-Frequency Generators based on ВВО, КТР, КТА crystals;
  • Difference-Frequency Generators based on ZGP, CdSe crystal.

Design of such laser systems takes into account the Customers’ requirements in terms of the spatial arrangement, laser radiation parameters and possibility to control the whole system or its separate modules.

Depending on your requirements to the laser system both our standard modules and individually developed ones can be used as the system’s separate parts.

As early as at the development stage any required options can be integrated into your individual laser system:

  • Power meters;
  • Laser radiation attenuators;
  • Built-in laser wavelength meters;
  • Monochromators and spectrographs for spectral analysis;
  • Auxiliary custom optics;
  • Any other options upon your request.

Please, contact us for creating your custom laser system.
