The specific feature of the LQ629 is that the active elements of the master oscillator and amplifier are installed in one pump chamber and are pumped by a single flash lamp. The master oscillator is based on the time-proven ring cavity design ensuring excellent beam quality while the classical single-pass amplifier is supplemented with the optics compensating thermo-optical aberrations.

The optical design applied ensures almost ideal flat-top laser beam profile. Particularly, such a profile providing homogeneous exposure over the whole laser beam field is much-in-demand for most of applications starting from ablation and finishing with optical pumping.

Innovative and thoroughly verified optical configuration of the LQ629 laser is arranged in one compact vibration- and dustproof housing which ideally suits for the roughest operating conditions.

Technical solutions developed specially for this laser provide not only excellent combination of output parameters in a cost-effective design but also minimize your expenses on servicing this first-class device. Low maintenance costs are ensured by utilization of one flashlamp with an increased (more than 100 million pulses) lifetime as well as its easy and quick replacement without access to the laser head optical cavity.

HARMONIC GENERATORS

In the standard configuration the LQ629  laser has built-in SHG, THG and FHG. However, upon your request the harmonic generators can be supplied as external stand-alone modules. FiHG  is available only as an external unit.

OPO

Upon your request the LQ629  laser can be supplemented with an optical parametric oscillator of the LP600 series. In such a combination you will have a source of continuously tuneable laser radiation within a wide spectral range (from UV to IR).

ATTENUATOR

The laser can be supplemented with a PC controlled attenuator. Upon your choice it can be either a unit optimised for operation at one wavelength or an achromatic attenuator intended for simultaneous attenuation of all the laser harmonics from 266 nm to 1064 nm.

ARTICULATED ARM

A number of applications require quick and flexible laser beam delivery to the research object or the place of measurements. For this an optical fiber can be used but only for delivery of low pulse energy radiation (5-20 mJ). To deliver high-power radiation we offer to supplement the laser with a mirror articulated arm. To minimise losses of laser pulse energy we use special dielectric mirrors with high reflection coefficient simultaneously for 1064 nm and 532 nm.
