All the lasers of the LQ529 series are based on ring cavity and incorporate a pump chamber with diffuse ceramic reflector. Due to this technical solution the LQ529 lasers, unlike the lasers with traditional linear cavity, provide homogeneous close to flat-top laser beam profile and possess exceptional stability of output energy and spatial radiation parameters. Beam pointing stability of the LQ529 is better than 20 µrad in the vertical plane and 80 µrad in the horizontal plane.

All the critical components of the laser are thermally stabilised which in combination with vibration-proof design ensures unsurpassed long-term output radiation stability. The efficient thermostats used in the LQ529 ensure warm-up time of less than 10 min.

To reduce your time expenses on routine service of the LQ529 we provided flash lamp life time of more than 30 million pulses and foreseen easy and quick procedure of its replacement.

Closed-loop water-to-air cooling system is integrated into a compact single-phase laser power supply which can be controlled both from PC and via the remote control unit.

HARMONIC GENERATORS

In the standard configuration the LQ529  laser has built-in SHG, THG and FHG. However, upon your request the harmonic generators can be supplied as external stand-alone modules. FiHG  is available only as an external unit.

OPO

Upon your request the LQ529  laser can be supplemented with an optical parametric oscillator of the LP600 series. In such a combination you will have a source of continuously tuneable laser radiation within a wide spectral range (from UV to IR).

ATTENUATOR

The laser can be supplemented with a PC controlled attenuator. Upon your choice it can be either a unit optimised for operation at one wavelength or an achromatic attenuator intended for simultaneous attenuation of all the laser harmonics from 266 nm to 1064 nm.

ARTICULATED ARM

A number of applications require quick and flexible laser beam delivery to the research object or the place of measurements. For this an optical fiber can be used but only for delivery of low pulse energy radiation (5-20 mJ). To deliver high-power radiation we offer to supplement the laser with a mirror articulated arm. To minimise losses of laser pulse energy we use special dielectric mirrors with high reflection coefficient simultaneously for 1064 nm and 532 nm.
